Is it just me or does anyone else think that Bob Rae will be holding a press conference soon where he will say, "Mr. Ignatieff your time is up." ?

Well do you remember some years ago now when Boris Yeltsin walked onstage to where Gorbechev was delivering a speech and just stood there right beside him...the two men just stared at each other...but that was the end of Gorbechev...oh yes...
I remember distinctly seeing it on tv.. it was like he just tapped him on the shoulder and said he should resign...

Well I doubt Rae would be overt about bumping Iggy, but I believe he has been subtly working towards his demise and secretly cheering everytime Iggy screws up.
Interesting, though, I still am not convinced that Liberals will anoint Rae. Time will tell.
My earlier comment still stands regarding the union between Bob and Ignatieff forces.
Donolo has sent Ignatieff on a permanent road trip (he advised during his days at Strategic Counsel)get out of Ottawa, visit riding's to shore up the support.
The math has not changed the Lib-Coalition makes sense if the Liberals hold the most seats and have a leader that Canadians can support.
Ignatieff is now trailing Jack Layton (leadership-trust) by a wide margin and would rightfully claim the PM's job to this revised partnership.
In many way Jack Layton has more claim to the throne as he was elected by his party's grassroots and has MP's outside largest urban centres. The Liberals don't.
Jack, NDP should ask several left leaning liberals to join and leave the neo-liberals to fend for themselves.

BTW AA, how come the darling media have not been seen holding hands with OMAR. They did so with Brenda Martin.
How much do you want to bet that when Bobby abdicated from the leadership race after CoupScam, there was a deal that Iggy gets one shot at an election before Bob contests the leadership? It makes sense.
Iceman: With the way things are going I don't think the Liberals even want to risk giving him his one shot.
Jen: Forget Brenda Martin, or even Omar, there is an even more important 'Canadian' to save from facing foreign justice.
