Your daily affirmation.

Your daily affirmation from Denis Coderre: "It was not a question of discipline, it was a question for a calculating machine . . . Someone should have done the math."

--------------
Some other memorable affirmations from yesterday:

One Liberal MP is even calling it “clown city.” & “Michael went to war without checking,” said another Liberal MP

Ignatieff and Bennett channel allied leaders from WW2:
Ignatieff: "the buck stops here."
Bennett: "This was not our finest hour."

"We look like fools," one Liberal MP said privately.

"Sometimes you eat the bear," he said Wednesday. "Sometimes the bear eats you. I guess the bear had the day." Liberal Whip Rodger Cuzner.

The fools on the hill,(Liberals) are in the same bush league as the Rino Party. The weekend Thinkers Conference should include the following topic, "Fear of Clowns, can it be Overcome?". Cheers, FernStAlbert

We need this trainwreck not change its leadership until after the next election.

We need those eyebrows on the campaign trail telling us Canadians want to dream.

It's crunch time, you only have two choices, Conservative or Liberal. If you want daycare...blah blah...

23% popular support will take away Dion's record.

Donolo fired Kinsella,
who is gonna fire Donolo?

We see Ducey leading the French Resistance, and Iffy leading the Global Abortion party....gawd, Jack and the Dippers look reasonable in comparison.

Go Jack Go.

Ignatieff is setting himself up again to look ineffective and Iffy with his statements yesterday on disciplining those that voted against, or were absent for Bob Rae's (which was not really Bob Rae's) motion.

"Those are matters of internal discipline and we'll be dealing with them." he said, but later in the day he came out and said "the buck stops here" and allegedly took responsibility for the fiasco.

Which is it? Or is he planning on disciplining himself?

He was recruited and promised the PM job. He may have realized he joined the wrong party and is going to cross the floor and join the CPC.

He has a greater likelihood as a backbench CPC in becoming a PM than a Liberal MP to PM.

Eveny Donny Martin understands the magnitude of the latest screw up.

Don't you think?

On his C.V. he can demostrate how effective he was in helping the CPC and undermining support for the Liberals.

He only blew his gasket once in the Fall 2009. May have been an honest mistake. He keeps repeating he got the message and Canadians don't want an election.

What does Ignatieff have going for himself that would make Canadians vote for him? Seriously, I can't see anything there but a fake veneer and a halfhearted effort.

He was touted as an intellectual and compared to Trudeau but so far his own actions have betrayed the hype and the only thing he and Trudeau have in common would be ego.

Who did Trudeau face?

1) Stanfield,Clark

2) ONT-QC decided the elections

3) Will NDP repeat history and destroy itself in joining Liberals?

The forces are not the same, the brand has become damaged with scandals. This is not the party of my parents. Last majority was 2000 with Ontario 100 seats 50% of vote.

Ontario shift is dramatic.
NDP 8.5% 1 seat, Ref 23% 2 seats, PC 14% no seats

Lessons learned. LPOC only party not adapting from 2000. They are returing to a left to fight 1990's battles.

And being led into that battle by General Donolo.

Restructuring since summer 2009. Ignatieff is unhappy with numbers and people keep moving.

I am not confident the party can withstand a $ 20 million National Campaign.

We had no TV ads media buys from Liberals to defend Ignatieff or frame party as a serious political alternative.

CBC, Youtube, Radio spots.

We already know the tv ratings suck so that won't help.

With new regulations in place and them being out power, big money can't return to fix it.

As God is my witness I thought turkeys could fly and Liberals could count.

Good catch Paul. Ignatieff's management skills are about the same as Arthur Carlson's.

Except only one was supposed to be a comedy.
