Stephane Dion got it wrong.

Remember Dion's famous quote from the 2006 Liberal leadership convention.

" Do you think it is easy to make priorities?" ( This would make a great commercial =) Note the date! original post on the quote)

Sorry Stephane, but Ignatieff knows what his priority is. Himself!

You have to question the sincerity of an author whose favourite genre is himself, and obsession few normal people share.

"Citing "factual errors" and "missing context" in the British report, an association spokesman said the overseas campaign only stiffens the resolve of industry players to highlight the long-term, sustainable benefits of developing the oil sands."

The British report -- titled Opportunity Cost of Tar Sands Development: How to Better Spend $379 billion -- contends the amount being invested in Canada's oil sands could ensure "every child in the world receives a primary education," could bring proper sanitation infrastructure to an additional 1.6 billion people and "avert four million child deaths, 322,000 maternal deaths" annually, as well as hundreds of thousands of fatal cases of tuberculosis and HIV.

Priorities to the liberals is for the liberals and no other so to Dion's own frame of mind at that time 'it would be rather difficult for him to balance Canada's priorities and liberals' priorities. That's tough.

They all seem to be getting it wrong lately...

Iceman is right. Narcissism is a disease, and when you don't have much to be narcissistic about, you shouldn't spend so much time thinking about how much of a gift you are to everyone else.

But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, no?
