CTV News Staff: Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff's main task today: turn the doves in his caucus into hawks, and set forth a plan to take down the Tory government in the fall.
Since when does CTV news dictate what the main task is for the leader of the official opposition. Get over yourselves, it is not like you are Krista Erickson.

We go from "on probation" to "on life support", what's next ? vegetative state ?
Liberal support from CTV Toronto...No Surprise there.
So,in his speech today Ignatieff tell us that the Liberals support terrorist!
Does this mean that Ig would have Khadr and Bin Laden in any Liberal Party cabinet? What else will this terrorist sympathizing, big tax and spending, green-wacho extremeist Liberal leader do to totally destroy this country?

They're desperately in need of taxpayer’s money and they need it now. The sweet taste of money for nothing is what they crave.
That is why the Toronto corporate welfare hounds had Iffy installed as Liberal leader. And to think that the Liberal Party members went along with it.
What a pathetic crew!
So long as we have the three major parties competing for 66% of 83% of the seats in parliament we will continue to have the same thing; declining voter turn out, minority governments, and frequent elections.
So THIS is what Iggy spent his summer thinking thoughts about?
I can't believe he's stupid enough to threaten the country in this way.
The PM and the CPC war room have my permission to nail Iggy and send those Liberals into the cellar for a long, long time.
Is the money the libs need to come from the 1.95/vote. After the million they lost last election, by 800,000 voters staying home do they want to break that record. What if they still stay home, or worse vote conservative.
If we are in such dire economic trouble, why do they want to waste 3 million plus on an election. Oh, I know, to create jobs for unemployed liberals as poll workers.
How long after Mr. Ignatieff spoke did Thomas Mulclair declare an openness to talk to the PM about working with the gov't?
Hunter showed us the numbers first: we need 7000 votes to get our extra dozen seats; I can't remember how many people I shared that info with. Then today the Iceman listed the nearly 60 ridings where we came second with 30% or more of the vote -- and we need only a dozen more to go our way. Most voters we talk to door to door are following the news. If Mr. Ignatieff wears the calling of this election, door to door will be even more fun!
I posted this yesterday morning after I got home form work. I went to bed for a few hours and when I woke up Iggy had gone nuts.
That will teach me to sleep.
