Another Liberal Photo Op/smear failure.

Brant Liberal candidate Lloyd St. Amand joined the long list of failed Liberal Party photo ops the other day when he and Liberal trade critic Willowdale MP Martha Hall-Findlay stopped off outside a supposedly closed factory in an effort to highlight “job losses” allegedly caused by the Conservative business tax reductions.

One small problem: The factory wasn’t closed at all, and the company’s Vice President was not happy to have been used as a prop in this Liberal deception:
“[The Liberals’] attempt at disparaging the Conservatives...was a disaster… Ironically, we had looked into locating our finishing and distribution facility in Michigan. The corporate tax cuts and programs provided by the Conservative government were the deciding factor to expand in Canada.” (John Paul deBoer, Vice President, Brant Screen Craft, Brant News, March 3, 2011)

And that is not all. St. Amand also admitted that federal opposition parties “forced” the government into stimulus spending in the first place ( which is the biggest reason we are in a deficit) and also said that “If they had done something sooner, as other countries did in 2007 and 2008, it’s quite possible that many of the jobs that were lost could have been saved,”  As if other countries were actually spending money on stimulus in 2007 while the economy was booming and BEFORE the recession hit; but then again revisionist history seems to be Liberal trait.

Previous Liberal photo op failures:

A man outstanding in his field. (Ignatieff gets it wrong. with video)

The Liberal caucus adoors adores Ignatieff.  (Symbolism bites Ignatieff. Also with video)

Not like this guy was going to get back in anyway. But still, that's a major epic fail. Can't believe this was once the organization that swept Ontario.

It makes you wonder if his own team is trying to sink him, who is responsible for the research?

Wrong field, wrong numbers, and now wrong company.

Ignatieff is better than Dion if providing proof both he and his team is unfit to govern.

A special shout out the back room boys in the LPOC who keep installing these duds. Thank you.

Gee...I will expect to see Evan and co. chuckling over this on P & P and Bob Fife and Lloyd Robertson making jokes about these two buffoons and their failed photo op.....

Oh....what's that?

Their Liberals?

Oh Yeah.....sigh

Back to your regularily scheduled Tory pseudo scandal

I imagine that the GST cuts in 2007 and 2008 actually DID provide a certain amount of stimulus to the economy...

Its a Liberal trait...getting things wrong. Remember Ignatieff and Gerard Kennedy, when they got the wrong empty field in Southern Ontario...complaining about the economic action plan. These clowns want to be the Govt.....lololololol

Of course you can't find the story on the internet anymore...the biased media deleted it .."Page not found".

What they were really doing is subliminally projecting their intentions to stomp on businesses like these.

They believe that they’ll be more successful if there are more people who are poor and live via the begging bowl.

The pure selfishness of these “types” makes them think that they know what’s best for you and me. Anything that moves them toward having the power to make others submit to their orders is deemed acceptable.

They believe in a society based on ideology rather than merit because they’re full of their ideological crap and lacking in merit. It’s all about them.

In case you missed it, today on Dave R, your post, Linda call your office was mentioned, and also it was brought up, with the e-mail read, in the HofC today during QP. I think it was Baird who did it, and asked if the MP mentioned would fire that staffer.
I think the cbc has mentioned it also, when reporting on QP.

AA, the gist of your posting about "Linda Duncan, call your office", was mentioned by Tim Powers on today's Rutherford Show @ 9:13 AM

... one of your bloggers out there in Alberta, called Alberta Ardvark has posted up on his site, a mistake of similar magnitude, that someone in Linda Duncan's office made using. And all of your listeners can go to the Alberta Ardvark website and see this ...
