Ruby Tuesday Part 2

Tuesday December 15, 2009 otherwise known as Ruby Tuesday Part 2 for the Liberal Party of Canada. Only this time it was Jack Ruby and not Ruby Dhalla.

From the contest rules: "We’ll post every entry we receive in the coming days (as long as it’s not inappropriate)..."

The Picture that was deemed appropriate by someone within the Liberal Party of Canada and posted to the official website of the LPC.

Lucky Liberals get to choose the winner? (it is still unclear if the above was chosen by the Liberal web team as a finalist)

All was well until they were busted by the media.

As usual the blogosphere was ahead of them all.

The non apology. The photos here are created by visitors to our website, and do not always reflect the views of the Liberal Party of Canada. Though we continue to screen submissions before posting, we have removed certain images that may have been offensive to some viewers.

We apologize for any offence these images may have caused, and continue to strive to present a progressive and dynamic web experience for our site visitors.

Sincerely,
The Web Team

Warren speaks a truism: "Moral of the story? It's the reverse-Vegas principle: what happens online doesn't ever stay online. It seeps out, like water." ( he should know)

--------------------------

Is it over? Not yet and it will not be over until Michael Ignatieff grows a pair and shows some leadership by making an apology for the actions of HIS party to the Prime Minister. Attempting to change the channel will not work.

For fun: Have a listen to Steve Janke from Angry in the Great White North destroy Lib Blogger Jeff Jedras on Breakenridge yesterday. (Select Dec 15 @ 7PM. It starts right after the news.)

And because it is Christmas a free tip for those Liberals running around trying to compare the "bullet holes" going through Dion's Platform (done by his own party btw) with bullets going through the PM; give it up before you make an already bad situation much worse. Get your leader to apologize and be done with it.

I find this entire episode entertaining. Is that wrong? Come on, let Liberals be Liberals and they will make themselves look stupid. That's what this is!

"I find this entire episode entertaining."

Problem is Iceman, there are actually people that believe their BS and are deranged enough to act out.
As AA has indicated above, this contest was up and in full steam, a week ago. There were dozens of very disturbing entries and AA and I and others, I suspect, sent the link to MSM outlets. Nothing happened and that is a huge concern.

These Liberal morons are GETTING AWAY with the suggestion that this entry "slipped by" the web master.
The media is giving them a pass and that is unacceptable.
Our PM's piano moment was mistakenly put on the government website and it was bloody news for a week.

No I disagree, this cannot be laughed at or dismissed. It should be considered a very serious matter.

Iceman,
How do you think advertising works.
Why do companies pay huge sums of money to place their products in the faces of consumers?
The answer can be found in the old saw, “Monkey see, monkey do".
That is why this picture isn’t in the least bit funny.

Now, if you want funny, may I suggest you listen to the “Steve vs Jeff” link that Aardvark provided. Once the gloves get dropped, it doesn’t take long for Steve to pull the poor unfortunate Jeff’s sweater over his big fat head and then just wails away on him, leaving him stammering and stuttering incoherently. Now that was hilarious!

The Harper-haters in the national media, op eds like Reids 'Kill him Dead' and Spinsella on Liblogs,
should take some responsibility for creating the environment needed for this over the top display to take off.

The over partisan Liberal gang from the under 30 crowd just took it to the lowest level.

To all our Liberal friends who feel that we're making too much of this, I ask them to imagine such a photo on the CPC website, but with Iffy's picture where the PM's is. What would their reaction be?

Jen said...

Well Brian in Calgary, the liberals media would be outraged and demanding the resignation of the person who made such a thing furthermore, that same photo will be sent to outside world informing others 'how cruel Harper is'

Is the left admitting that they are the ones that killed to advance their kind? Got to wonder? (real conservative)

Look at the tyrannical governments of the past and it is true. The left did kill to promote their cause(s).

If this was a puffin or even a dog, the MSM would have been all over it with wall to wall coverage.
