Climategate whopper of the week.

There have been a lot of tall tales and whoppers from all sides of the Climategate story recently but this one stands out for myself as the whopper of the week.

Mark Hess, public affairs director for the Goddard Space Flight Center which runs the GISS laboratory: “We’re collecting the information and will respond with all the responsive relevant information to all of his requests,” Mr. Hess said. “It’s just a process you have to go through where you have to collect data that’s responsive.”

He said he was unfamiliar with the British controversy and couldn’t say whether NASA was susceptible to the same challenges to its data."

The public affairs director of NASA, whose job it is to keep up with the latest news stories and who probably has staff who search out this stuff, claims that he is not familiar with perhaps the biggest story related to climate science in years!

Ya right, who does he think he is, the CBC?

ht Springer.

and just because.

AA, the next time any of those climate people like Al Gore, May, Monbiot etc. go on their speech engagements. Explain or simply outlime how they get to point A to point B. why I ask, is that these people use fuel, to travel from each point, the very fuel they want to get rid off and another thing, May says the water is rising-now where does she live; is it near the sea front. If she does near sea, it means that the water is not rising or else she will be living on the highest mountain.

With so many experts and media unaware of the climatgate revelations, it make one wonder, do any of them pay attention to what is going on in the world.
What else are they ignoring that we should know about.

As long as that funding grant arrives on time all is good.

Dizzir Lizzie wants to find the people who hacked into CRU computers to be punished for purpotrating a criminal act: equating that to the Watergate break-in. Desperate measures for desperate people.

Sorry I was busy shoveling 8 inches of global warming off of my drive-way.

I have wondered just how well the Greens would do if they did not have a nutjob as leader.

Just finished watching the bloggers section on Evan Soloman's power and Politics. Adrian McNair tried to hold Kady O'Malley and CBC accountable for the black of the climate Gate story for 2 weeks. She apparently felt researching afghan detainee emails was way more important than the Climate gate emails.
CBC looking very lacking on their denial of Climate Gate for 2 weeks.
Kady O' malley likes to hold Christy Blanchford accountable to the facts on Afghan detainees but calls Climate Gate a non story because there are too many emails to read. Give me a break!!!!

Thanks Fay, I will try to catch that later tonight on the website.

As I mentioned on BLY, the chinese news reporting in chinese of course on OMNInetwork, Channel,11 at 5pm this afternoon alta time, impressed me a great deal, the positive reporting and the length of the story on the PM in china etc, lasted about 15-20mins. this could not be found on CBC- some scraps of the news; but definitely not that long.
OMNI NETWORK is also seen in Ontario.
It looks to me, that FOX of many languages is here.
Look up your tv channel and hopefully the chinese report on the CHINA-RELATION is shown again.
I am positive that the Indian media will have the news as well.

I don't think I get Omni but I will check.

Well Ardvark, it looks like we can score another one for the AGW loons and their cohorts in the Alberta government. I just caught the Alberta environment minister talking about how he thinks the $15.00 per ton charge for CO2 emissions over the statutory limit is too little. He is considering raising it to $30.00 per ton. It's not bad enough that the idiot PCs drove the drilling industry out of the province, now they want to do the dirty work for the Sierra Club and Greenpeace and shut down the oilsands.

Monkeying with the royalty rate was not enough for them eh.
