Cue the outrage, again.

So this is what the fuss is about?

"I can understand the passion that the leader of the Opposition and members of his party feel for Taliban prisoners, I just wish occasionally they would show the same passion for Canadian soldiers."

"I would like to see more support in the House of Commons from all sides for Canadian men and women in uniform," Harper said.

"I think Canadians expect that from parliamentarians in every party. They have not been getting it, and they deserve it."

So the PM states what he would like to see more of in the HOC, and right on cue the Libs are again screaming about him being a bully. I see no outright smear, perhaps there is a bit of a guilty conscious thing happening here but little things like actual words mean nothing when playing the outraged victim card.

OK all you outraged Liberals, prove the PM wrong. Grab your Hansard and see if you can find some examples recently where the Liberals have indeed voiced support for the troops. No "we support the troops but......" quotes either please, context is key.

No Liberals yet up to my challenge but Steve Janke has some thoughts on the Liberal defense critic Denis Coderre.

Yet it's fine for Garth Turner to call the Prime Minister of Canada a 'political whore'.

I agree. I heard about the PM's "smear" on Duffy Live. When I read what had been said, I couldn't believe that was it. The reporters on that program were making a big deal out of nothing.

What is this now... the third or fourth Dion whine that "he must apologize"?

He was damn near crying one time during the last election.

I guess they gave Ralph Goodale a day off yesterday as the official 'apology gopher'...Maybe today Ralph will come out of his hole (It is spring afterall) and ask Canadians to apologise for Afghanistan's government treatment of Taliban girl killing, school burning, teacher beheading terrorists.

Please PM Harper, election NOW!...I can't take this much longer...I want us to win a majority. I need a break!;-)

They're not just complaining about it; that I can deal with. The media is implying Harper said Liberal favour the Taliban over the military instead of a direct quote.

I think Dion's making a mistake on this though. By whining about apologies, he's drawing attention to it, and people are going to remember this issue.

Liberals are known for making our military suffer. They are known for cutting their funding then sending them all over the world, often into embarrassing situations where the US has to transport and equip us. People might think Harper's mean for saying it like that, but they'll also think he's tough and Dion's a wimp.

Remember "I can take a punch"?

wah wah wah... Keep crying and playing the upset child Mr Dion... it will be interesting to see all the clips they've provided to the PC election war chest when the next fedral election does get underway next spring or later this fall. Some of these quotes are priceless Gems that Dion and party are offering up... If they thought the initial adds the PC's put out were smear/attack ads' wait til all the quotes coming out from the liberals own mouths are repeated over and over again in the actual election campaign... Better yet wait til "The Great Global Warming Swindle" is aired in Canada on prime time media out of the USA on Cable TV opposite CBC's "Corner Gas" or "Little Mossc on the Prairies"...lets hope Fox picks it up

Yes we should have a Fed.election. We have listened to whiny, crybaby
undecisive Dion and his childlike manner a bit too long. HE IS A DANGER to Canada as well as some of the lib.mps. Everything the Conservatives do he critizes - HE WANTS POWER. (I wonder if he still wears diapers?)
Can't look or listen to this unethical man and some of his MPs anymore, he's just a bucket of ------------. md

Dion: "But, but mommy, he called me names!"

Mom: "That's nice dear."
