NDP MP Dawn Black: Another ban for your safety.

New Westminster-Coquitlam NDP MP Dawn Black introduced a private members bill Thursday proposing additional penalties for people who commit crimes while wearing body armour. The legislation also calls for those who have been convicted of violent crimes to be prohibited from owning body armour. Source.

I think she may be on to something here; after all, the gangs have had such a respect for our existing gun laws that another law will be sure to do make our streets safer.

Ms Black tells PP that she has 2 sons on the police force.
Her rationel was that the gangs had better body armor and higher power weapons than the force.
You get the drift.

As she exits Dipperville to make her provinical debut:
''She added the Conservative government needs to adopt an anti-gang strategy and beef up legislation used to tackle crime.''

When Dippers go provincial, they switch sides, eh.

And if that doesn't work, all they'll have to do is make murder and drug-running "double-plus ungood".
