This type of thing is not what you want to come out in the middle of a leadership contest, and I wonder if it had an effect on her decision.
Negative press is not good; just ask Joe Volpe about how negative news coverage can effect your chances.
Speaking of the Liberal party, it would seem questions are coming up as to how membership lists are getting out to the press.
