We did it: A Conservative Majority.

And now we don't have to do it again for 4 years!

A big thank you to all the volunteers from across the country that worked so hard during the campaign to reach our goal. Take a bow, as it would not have happened without you.

There will be much to write about over the coming days, including what happened in Edm Strathcona and of course on the future, or rather lack of a future for the Liberals, but first some much needed sleep and then there is a little matter of a few hundred signs that have to be dealt with.

Do you think the Blogging Tories deserve any credit for this historic victory? This is the age of social media.

Watch how quickly the MSM will change the channel and stop reporting on the election now that everyone is tired of the election (in other words we won't be allowed to glory in our victory).

I'm anxious to hear your take on what happened with Ryan but that doesn't change the fact that we don't have a great guy in Ottawa.

It's hard to accept that Duncan will now be considered one of the 1/3 of experienced NDP but at least she has been downsized as a voice.
The voters in Edmonton Strathcona must truly dislike their Province. Sad!

RE Mark Holland .... I wanted so badly for him to be defeated I contributed $100 to the Conservative canditate. I don't even live in his riding!

Uh.. Speaking of "we did it", I was curious if the cheque you received from Steve was the same as mine..

Oops.

I mean.. Uh.. Of course we aren't paid bloggers in the great Tory machine.

MwaaHaahaahaaahaaaaaaa... (maniacal laughter)

Bloggers on BT do a better job than many in the media,
so much so that even some in the media (Scott Reid ?) said they were paid.
But CBC had to write a retraction, because it's a 100% volunteer effort.
