Best Political book from the last 25 years.

From the Samara website:

"Samara and the Writers’ Trust of Canada are proud to present the shortlist for the Best Canadian Political Books of the Last 25 years. This project draws attention to highly readable accounts of the issues and personalities that figure prominently in Canada’s history, with a goal of creating a resource for Canadians to learn about their political history and encourage readers to reflect on the contribution books make to our country's great political debates."

Take a look at the choices and vote for what you believe is the best political book of the last 25 years.

I agree with BC Blue myself and have cast my vote for Ezra's "Shakedown". A great read and it remains as relevant today as the day it was written.

Ardvark
Tired of undelivered big promises and big government in general. Even more tired of being treated as an idiot by the spin artists found at all levels of government.

What they are saying about Alberta Ardvark

Scott Reid: "you got me wonderboy"

Adam Goldenberg: "You're too kind."

BigCityLib one of their "saner supporters"

Dan Gardner: "Are you offering to promote my books for me? No? Then shaddup."

LibArtsAndMinds: "You're smarter than this."

Brent Butt: "Yes. You are right. I am wrong. I feel shame."

Frank Graves 1: "Okay ! this is the second time you got me with careless tweeting . And once again I defer to your catch. Good one!" 2. "Sheesh! are you available as a real time editor?"
