Ann Coulter's speech in Ottawa cancelled!

When embarrassing letters are not enough, resort to threats of violence to get the job done.

The tolerant left strikes again.

What a piece of work this woman is.

  1. And SHE gets the letter warning to watch her "words".

    Pathetic!

  2. And then these students become journalists.

  4. Wonder how many of those protesters were students of said university, and how many are professional protesters. Wait for the lawsuits, the HRC complaint, the demands for said letter writer to resign.
Loss of income, should be a good one against the letter writer and the student's union, and anyone that can be named as organizing said protest. Maybe being sued for several thousand dollars will smarten some of those professional idiots a lesson. Might keep them busy and away from the G8/G20 meetings, to ply their trade.
This story has made Drudge and Malkin's blog so the Ottawa university will get world wide bad publicity. Might even affect some of their alumni donations.

  5. The best PR Coulter has had in years, and all thanks to the lefties.

The think they won but they think wrong. Way wrong.

  6. ''The police, Coulter says, “had been warning my bodyguard all day that they were putting up [messages] on Facebook: ‘Bring rocks, bring sticks, you gotta hurt Ann Coulter tonight, don’t let her speak.’ And the cops eventually said, we’ve got a bad feeling, this isn’t gonna happen. And they shut it down.”

  7. Watching this story unfold is going to be a lot of fun.

  8. Ann on the Michael Coren show can be viewed here ... http://tinyurl.com/yzjfv8v

Wow! Ezra representing Ann at the Human Rights Commission! Please tell me this is true!

  9. For Rural and Right:
She said she will hire Mr. Levant, a lawyer, to file a human rights complaint in Canada regarding the incident.

This should be fun to watch. If the HRC refuses to investigate it will prove they are not interested in truth.

  10. To shut her down they must be afraid of what is beyond me.

People with an open mind may think twice before enrolling in an University of no broad views (open mindedness)

They might not like the idea of being told how to think.

A university student to a radio show host in OTTAWA said that when he wrote an essay he wrote with a mixture of both liberal and conservative(balance) viewpoint. He said that he knows that his essay is very good unfortunately he an 'F' on his paper.

'Conservative views are not allowed' he said.

  11. How does this grab the headlines

    'UNIVERSITY FEARS ANN COULTER'

Wilson, why do you think the journalists are so crappy they think one way with no balance of any kind and of course journalists like these are easily used by radicals who think like them.
Why do you think that they do not want any outsiders coming into canada with a different view point; it shames them that they know nothing about the 'real world' except for their tiny one-sided mentality.
They cannot survive in the real world with that sort of mentality; they(real world), will eat them alive.

That is why no conservatives are allowed in the national media.

  12. Thank you Mary T. I watched Ann say this more then once it just all sounded too good to be true.

I can't wait to see Ezra rip another huge strip of the HRC Star Chamber.

  13. Ann clearly won this publicity battle. How much money would it have cost to have the media report the small tour?

National news, day, evening reporting the protests.

The intolerant left have reacted as everyone predicted.

Reading the blogs demostrates they don't support the Charter.

They support their idealogy and their views. They will disrupt and prevent dissenting views.

Let's see how the media reports the facts.

  14. Don't hold your breath on the media CS. They already believe that they are the gate keepers of all that is news in this country so I would expect too much out of them on this.

  15. I like the many of the pundits are slamming her "views" but come to the same conclusion her privilege to her views and those who wish to hear them is at greater risk with the intolerant left.

    ReplyDelete
  16. That is the problem though CS. If everybody thought that way there would not be a problem, but yet here we are.

The plus side is that the lefties have again exposed themselves as enemies of free speech.

  17. Here is one such columnists views on the subject.

    What an embarrassment.

  18. That is the winner in all this.

    a) Left exposed on undemocratic practices or censoring free speech and freedom of assembly

    b) Liberals playing abortion wedge for women in 3rd world.

This was a week the left got their butts kicked and many don't realize how moderates will shift to centre-conservative, away from the idealogical progressive camps of hate and gutter politics.

  19. Susan Cole did a great job on explaining why the left are so condescending.

The split screen was just cruel. The expressions from the host were funny in trying to get Susan to show some empathy for Ann as an invited guest and presenter on many Ivory Tower universities including Harvard.

Susan would have none of it. It was funny her indignation of Americans view of Free Speech and their expectations to be treated respectfully.

The victim card will be played against the intolerant elitists in Canada. It won't be pretty. They just don't get it.

  20. Free speech is an American concept.

Where have we heard that before?
